Well your attitude might be a slightly cocky but nothing one should be bother over.
Also perks does not = skills.
rank does not = skills. I seen dozen of rank 1 survivors/killers that are so trash at the game you would think they installed yesterday or so. the matchmaking on this game is so bad.
I seen people with 1k hours that cant even last more then 10 seconds in chases sometimes. I usually assume they are having a bad game or so or have only played stealth since they started to play the game
of course, and since then, since i want to play more with my friend, ive kept any comments to myself, and trying not to be cocky, ive just been stressing out about it since it made my friend really upset.
like, he posted this somewhere, not directly saying it was me, but i knew it was about me

i didnt call him garbage at the game, i didnt say i was better at the game than him, i would never call someone trash at a game, even if it was someone i dont know. even more so when i know he really likes the game.

You are cocky..... in what way? Are you tbagging the killer, flashlight spamming them or....?
no, i did none of that, i simply played the game as best i could by doing gens and saving hooked teammates. the worst i might have done, was say to my friend "are you already dead???" but less in a condecending way, but more disbelief. and a second thing that i can think of was, at the end of our last game, i go "funny how i lasted the longest when i only had rare/uncommon perks" when the rest had super rare and all that. other than that, nothing.
