    Did not work for me.

    SIGH. After playing this game for 8 years and giving it so much money, they can't even give us a simple message to let us know they're working on it. I think I'm going to stop checking the forums, reddit and steam and I'll hope that one day I reinstall DBD again and it works. But the silence from the devs gives me no hope I'll get to keep playing my favorite game.

    maybe you can try download a game called "VR Chat" on Steam, cause the game is using the same EAC as DBD, see if the game works fine. i did that before and it works

  • guys, i found a fix. after 6 hours of finding a solution. (well it works for me).

    following the steps below should resolve this issue.

    1. open the C:\Program Files(x86) folder, find the EasyAntiCheat_EOS folder and delete it.
    2. on your keyboard, press Windows and R. A window will open, type regedit into it and press Enter.
    3. right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and select find.
    4. enter EasyAntiCheat_EOS into the field and click on Find next.
    5. right-click on the EasyAntiCheat_EOS folder and select delete. Then confirm the deletion.

    and try to restart your router (trust me). it works for me doesn't mean it works for you, i'm just sharing my solution
