  • Turn on your brains for half a second. You can spawn the skeletons to instantly land on survs. You can force them to crouch so they don't make it to the pallet again. You can use it to deny fast vaults. You can confirm hits with animation lock It's not a bad skill; you're welcome, stop playing the victim, learn to play. Sorry that Lich doesn't have two free hit buttons and instead only has one. What do you want next, a spell that instantly kills all 4 survivors upon loading in? lmao

  • It's a circle with a 12m RADIUS. Standard tiles are 16 meters WIDE. Its effects travel through floors. You can put the item in basement and have your aura revealed standing above it. Tell me how long it would take to find an item a teammate dropped on an entirely different floor? Or on Midwich where it could be in the edge of the courtyard in the grass for all you know.

It's in at least a sixth of high MMR games. If it wasn't good it wouldn't be so common. It is clearly worth the two perk slots if it is getting picked over established meta perks like Bamboozle & gen regression.

It can be combined with killer addons that force item drops, so it doesn't necessarily require another perk.

It isn't as simple as "walk 2 seconds and put the item away" since a lot of maps don't have great places to put the item because the circle has a 12 meter RADIUS and you can't find the item half the time because it's not your item.

Constant aura-reading on rotations, generators, half of the map, etc, is definitely worth 2 perk slots if you're not awful at the game because that information lets you make extremely efficient decisions and make critical plays like interrupting a reset or unhook rotation. It does your game sense for you. You have to be delusional to think this perk combination is healthy for the game.

  • This combo is miserable to deal with in solo queue. Running Plunderer's every game to play babysitter because people don't bother to learn the new perks isn't fun at all.

  • This is a real issue that will affect M1 killers against good teams in the late-game. If you're defending a gen cluster, it is wise to place any downed survivor on a hook within that cluster, so that you can defend both at the same time. In a close match, you don't have time to go and hook them away from the cluster, and doing so would be counter-intuitive.

The problem arises when you have nowhere else to be. If you have 3 gens and a hook, and nothing else that's worth defending, then you have no reason to leave the area. The game is now creating an artificial pressure to leave the area.

The catch here is that low-tier killers care more about controlling a singular area over a long period of time than high tier killers for a multitude of reasons, and thus this will disproportionately affect low-tier killers and widen the divide between high-tiers and low-tiers.

The current iteration of this system is counter-intuitive, and will widen the gap between low mobility, area control killers, and killers who are strong enough not to have to care about those things against good teams.

  • Good post. It's unbearable right now. I've never been more bored or miserable. Playing killer is awesome! I'm not running slowdowns and manage to 2-hook everybody then I can just get to goof around. Survivor? My escape rate has to be below 20%... Every game is a slaughter or a slow-burn 3-gen campfest. I'm playing with really good teammates too. Something is wrong here.

  • Yeah queuing is miserable right now. I've played 40 games this weekend and escaped through the gates in less than 10. Every game is full gen-kick build. The gens take longer than ever, the slowdown is stronger than ever...

You know it's bad when if you queue up as a killer and play with the slightest bit of consideration, you get showered in praise. I feel like a messiah right now with how appreciative everybody I've played against has been in endgame chat for being the only killer who isn't going out of their way to have a boring, uninteractive game in the name of "winning"

  • This is the most killer sided meta to date. Kill rates are at 60%+. Killers do not need any more buffs.

  • Commenting to say that I have resolved the issue with the assistance of the support staff via email.

The following instructions are what worked for me:

    • Press Windows Key + R to bring up "Run"
    • Type "cmd" (without quotes) and hit enter to bring up "Command Prompt"
    • First, type "ipconfig /release" (without quotes) and hit enter
    • Second, type "ipconfig /renew" (without quotes) and hit enter
    • Lastly, type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotes) and hit enter
    • Restart your computer
