But it literally is unplayable. I haven't been able to complete a game since 4.5.1 dropped (including the new update yesterday) because the game crashes every time.

It's a buff to Rancor: Obsession won't really be able to tell the difference between Rancor and Bitter Murmur until they're exposed.
