The thing about killer is people put way too much weight into "I need to 4k to win" mentality, which isn't true at all.
0 kills means you got stomped. 1 kill means you lost. 2 kills mean you went even, both sides played well overall. 3 kills means you won. 4 kills means your stomped them.
This game overall is fairly balanced for the most part. A statistic was released that the killer with the lowest win rate on their worst map still have a 52% kill rate, which is VERY balanced when you think about it. Their worst map, they still kill at least 2 survivors on average.
People just need to get out of this mind set of where they must 4k to win. It isn't true. You will WANT to 4k, but you don't need to for it to be considered a tie or win.
Those statistics were skewed by how easy it was at the time for survivors to reach red ranks. Having survivors that should be a lower rank running around in higher ranks allows killers in each ranking area to appear more successful than they actually are, because they are going against people that should be too easy for them.
I don't think you've played as rank 1 killer against good rank 1 survivors. It's pretty ridiculous how easily they can escape if they do things right. They can mess up many times, and still get out. But, as killer, if you mess up even a few times it can cost you the match.
Personally, I've gotten used to the game as it is now, but it's not as fun as it used to be. Almost all of my killer games require me to give up a lot of chases because the surv is heading to the shack, or a really bad combo of jungle gyms. I also like that survivors don't die easily. It's fun to be challenged, but I really wish they would get rid of the stuff that allows survivors to succeed without trying very hard. Too many second chance perks that stack, AND gens are fast. They need to balance those two dynamics for survivors.

You can touch them. You can slug them. This "invincibility" claim comes from killers who tunnel and then proceed to complain about getting hit with DS.
I don't go out of my way to use it, it just gives me security in case the killer feels lazy and does want to dart towards ME instead of the survivor looping them. I don't save it though, I haven't thought about it, I don't like gambling like that. Might as well use it than be the last survivor unable to use it.
Iunno about that. I avoid tunneling because I know how unfun it is, and plenty of times I've had survivors DS me for the memes, or just to waste my time, like by jumping in a locker.
So, we have a couple of survivors. We will call one hookerface, and the other savior. So, I had previously hooked hookerface; not paying attention to her, but now im on savior, been chasing savior for a while. I down savior and hook her, and out of nowhere here comes a fullyhealed hookerface bum rushing the hook. Hookerface unhooks savior, just as I down hookerface. I go to pick up hookerface, and I get DS'd. Hookerface takes off, and savior follows. I try to catch hookerface, but savior body blocks. I knew what was about to happen... but they were getting close to the exit so I hit savior, but savior has endurance from hookerface's borrowed time. Savior and hookerface run off into the sunset.
Hookerface was fully healed when she came over, so she had to have ran over immediately after being unhooked to have DS available. I didn't tunnel, at all. Yet, DS gave hookerface the freedom to come and unhook someone in my face and get away with it, without any real consequences because she also had borrowed time. I had no recourse there, and was bamboozled by a perk that is supposed to protect survivors, not give them unlimited second chances.
But in my experience, this is often how borrowed time and DS are used. I get DS'd by people I haven't interacted with in a while, a lot, just as they go to save someone else.

If actual strong killer aren't perk dependant, than only a few killers are good.
That's sort of the case...

The PS5 is supposedly going to outperform current gaming PCs when it comes out due to the SSD, and the low overhead of operating a console compared to a PC.
Also... I don't think I've ever seen a PS4 run at 60fps, but that would be amazing... however, if a PS4 ran at 60fps, I think it would explode. It already sounds like it's melting while running dbd.
Also, it might sound weird, but clearing the learning dictionary on the PS4 sometimes improves performance. It's under 'initialize' in settings, i think.

It's good that he's playing many trials to try and prove this. However, if he's successful, he's only going to prove that Leatherface is underrated for someone with the same skill set as him.
Like others have said, that he needs to face skilled players to prove this, which I agree with. To truly prove that the killer is underrated in a general sense, he would have to find a good number of people of varying skill levels having a moderate amount of success.
Ultimately, I think what tru3 is going to isolate in his experiment is that Leatherface, or any base movement speed killer, isn't entirely broken and is playable. But... that's about it. Also, don't get me wrong, I like tru3, I watch his streams often.
