I am not going to take credit for 100% of the misery but remember when breakdown was bugged so that the hooks didn’t respawn? I had a match where i had 2 survivors left alive each wi th only one hook, a 3 gen in a corner and eventually only 2 hooks left. They would take a hit and run to the other side of the map where every hook was broken. It lasted over 45 minutes of this because i had a hard time downing both of them at the same time. I knew that if i hooked one and they got unhooked i would be in out of hooks. Back and forth. back and forth. but i was too stubborn and annoyed at a 4 man breakdown squad. Eventually i downed them enough that one bled out, i closed the hatch, and the last one got skewered by the entity. That was miserable but satisfying even if i didn’t get points for the kill.

I love windows. I run it both in solo and swf. It is probably the perk that has helped me improved looping the killer the most. I have played for about 2 years but didn’t start running it regular until Dredge. I have a really hard time during nightfall so I ran it for a while after his release but noticed i started running the killer for much longer and being left before going down about half the time. Right now my favorite Solo q build is Bond, Windows, Overcome, Lucky Break, and a beefy med kit. Extend the chase while healthy as long as possible while conserving pallets and avoiding teammates on gens. Then once i get hit zoom away and break line of sight with overcome and Lucky Break. Killers usually waste another 5-10 seconds looking for me while i heal. You just have to be ontop of healing teammates to keep Lucky Break charged and be aware of your surroundings when the killer is close since Lucky break doesn’t do much if you are out in the open.

Yeah.
I feel horrible for the Killers too.
They aren't good either and are getting matched with two people who have over 4K hours and two people who have 3950 hours less.
This is my experience trying to learn killer. I am ok with Legion. Or I was before boons. Now i am trying to learn new killers and I get those kinds of Lobbies. About every 10th match I get thrown new players and 4k at 5 gens. I wish I could get something in the middle. I just want to practice chase lol.

I miss playing Legion. That was my main killer before CoH but now it is just painful. I try a few matches here and there just because i miss zooming around the map stabbing everyone. I had a match last week where the boon was placed on the totem at the top of the tower in Eerie of Crows. on 4 separate occasions i got 4+ hits chained on my frenzy. but by the time i came out of it the first two survivors were already mended and healed. Survivor 3 was healed a few seconds after. Sure it kept them off gens for a bit but I ended up almost back where I began pressure-wise lol.

I am on console so this is about the only way to get the social aspect of the game lol. fortunately the forums are much more pleasant than pc end game chat can be.

The Adept killer achievements feel so inconsistent. I struggled to get adept Legion even with 4ks and trying to pay attention to emblems. I played Blight for the 3rd or 4th time ever and went up against a group that just kept swarming me when i was trying to hook. i lost 5 hooks from the body blocking. All gens got finished and i think i got 8 or 9 hooks total but had 3 dcs and still got adept.

Boons make it so much more of a pain for sure. I still play a lot of Legion but if i want kills I either have to bring an endgame build or Anti pallet with iri button. I just love the zoom zoom stab stab so much.

I am on playstation and am glad for the same reason. I do have my messages open though since i do like to be able to send positive gg messages after a especially fun match. I did get my first generic “uninstall” message this week after 2 years of playing. It seems like the salty psn players aren’t motivated enough to type out a message in the horrible console chat interface lol.
