At the start of the game: Just no. Because killer tends to infinitely dodge those groups, cause killers are scaredy cats regarding SWF. After the Game would be okay, cause this would open up their eyes that there werent any Squads or they even lost to four better Solos, so they have to face reality and not their own illusion of running every game into perfectly doing SWF-Squads.

Try to play solo or as killer against SWF and then you speak. Love these teen baby maining survivors who actually never played killer at red ranks.

It might not be fair usually but it is meant to purely be a casual game. Now, let me explain the 'usually' part I threw in there.

Do all people play competitively? No. Some do because they have the hots for winning but the game is, in no way, meant to be competitive. When I think 'casual' I think "It shouldn't matter whether you win or lose, just have fun with it..." I don't want to be told "You can't play with friends" or "Things will become expert mode/pro level skill matches if you play with friends" all because killers are sweaty for that 4k (no offence, but when I hear killers wanting to rid of or nerf SWF this is my first thought).

Not to mention, not all SWF are in sync, they like want to play and talk together. Doesn't mean they're on point. My friends and I have been wrecked by killers. I've seen other SWFs wrecked by killers. SWF doesn't always mean you won't get kills. You don't always need a 4k.

Some SWF don't even use comms. I did a friendly killer match the other day and someone from that round invited me to play as survivor but they didn't ask me to join any voice chats with them and their friends.

Seeing everyone wanting SWF taken away or nerfed really needs to learn what casual is. Needs to learn you don't have to win every. single. match. to have fun. I have friends, I'm sorry that I'm not anti social online. What do you want me to do? Remove everyone off my steam friends? No thank you.

I don’t need 4K every game. 2K would be ok.

I'm glad that you are having fun with friends. Fun is a big word in these days. But killers deserve to have fun too. And there is nothing funny about getting looped while three gens are done in 80 seconds.

Yes sometimes you find SWF that play casually, but it’s pretty rare. Most of the games, if I kill someone, I get salt like I’m the worst person in the world. Just because all his little friend escaped and he didn’t.

casual is rare in this game. Survivors think that they win only if they escape. But actually it’s so easy ranking up as a survivor which can be considered as a win.

As a killer, you need at least 3 kills to rank up.

For me - 2 kills is a win.

All you have to do to find a survivor is walk near a gen, if you hear it, one's nearby. You're most likely going to be in a chase within the first 10 seconds. After your first hook, finding survivors is like a piece of cake. VERY RARELY do survivors run an immersed build and hide from the killer.

10 second takes to reach first two gens. What about other 5? Have you ever played a killer? If you are lucky, u find first survivor in 30 sec. after hook, you have to move long way, at least 20 sec. if chase was 40 sec. that’s three gens done in SWF for sure.

One chase, 40 seconds long. So you should down a survivor at MAX half a gen? That'd mean optimal killers would down survivors in 10 or 20 seconds. That's 1/4th of a gen with no missed Ruin skillchecks. An optimal killer could get 12 hooks in 3 gens with that. That seems pretty biased to me. 40 seconds isn't a long time either.

Actually, I’m talking about chase only. Not that you have to find survivor first. Not that you have to pick up and hook them. Not that you have to find another survivor 🙂 that’s more 30 sec at the best.

    Yeah, everyone will be happy.

....Except all of the survivor population who, y'know, likes to play with their friends.

You can still play with friends. You will just not have easy time outplaying the killer like you do now.

  • That’s what I said in another post. Keep nerfing killers and they will switch to survivors - the easy role. Enjoy long queues until they do something about gen speed or SWF.

The only time I don't like a chase when playing killer is when I can't manage to outplay the survivor doing the looping. That said, what do you want? Do you want survivors to just stand there and let you down them? Do you want them to just throw every pallet on the map where there's none left by the time you catch that one survivor and then all the other survivors are dead because there're no pallets left? The idea that loops need to be made easier to deal with as killer is so silly to me because doing that would make me never want to play killer. I don't like easily won victories where I don't win by my skill, but just because the game is made so that I'll win.

What needs to happen in this game is all maps need to be the exact same size, and have the exact same amount of pallets with the same placement for the doors in every game. This would make it where killers could be balanced not based on their good maps and bad maps, but just balanced based on how weak or strong they are in general. Consistency is the only way to achieve balance. The maps don't have to have the same placement of pallets and whatnot, just the same door placement and same exact overall size, while having the exact same number of pallets.

I’m not saying they should get rid of loops. Chase should be around 40 second long. Not more. It’s fun when u mind game survivor at normal loop. God loops are the problem. And there’s many.

  • Try to play killer at higher ranks few hours in a row and we will see 🙂 you will rage quit when u first meet SWF where three gens pops In your first chase. You are not being objective. Survivors needs nerfs, not buffs.

I personally wouldn't mind a slight vault speed bonus

This is a joke right? Survivors are in power role in this game. Killer can’t do ######### against SWF and you want to buff vault speed? 😃 that is ridiculous.

  • @incognitix said:

What do you suggest as an alternative to loops? What's another way can you sustain a chase without looping?

    There isn't any.

Looping is the part of this game that makes it fun, as both survivor AND killer.

    • You can't honestly say that playing this game against Rank 20's who constantly run into walls and don't put up any sort of challenge in a chase is fun. Going against that constantly will make the game become stale and boring.

Running loops well on either side gives you the satisfaction that you outsmarted the killer or survivor.

    • Adding killers that circumvent the looping aspect of the game isn't the answer nor is nerfing pallets/loops directly (with exception to some god loops). That would just ruin the game at least from a survivor's standpoint.

What needs to be reworked is how the objective is completed.

    • I think the best solution for this game would be to prolong the amount of time it takes to complete the objective that isn't as boring as just adding more time to complete generators. Create another activity for survivors to perform.

IDEA (*This idea involves the creation of a new item):

    • Survivors can no longer work on generators immediately after spawning into the map. First, they need to find a repair guide (this is the new item).
    • There will now always be four chests that spawn on the map. These chests will always contain repair guides as well as an item.
    • Opening the chest will instantly put the repair guide in your inventory. Once in your inventory there would be a visual indication that it is in your possession.

Have you ever played killer? There is no fun getting looped as a killer.... especially with SWF. Speak for yourself.

  • Forbid SWF. Play KYF if u want to play with your friends!

2k is the target, not 1k. 1k on average would mean they're very weak and desperately need a buff.

Hello, I had to register to comment this. If 2K is the target, then the emblem system needs significant rework! Because i had plenty games where i got 3 kills (not 2!) and still depip/black pip... by the way i never camp or tunnel, so it is always 10 min+ game where i get 25k+ bloodpoints and still depip! Its ridiculous... and also very demotivating. And definetly NOT fun ?
