I love the idea of rewarding these OG's. They basically helped make the game what it is for the rest of us. A cool exclusive skin is a small prize for enduring the old blood web and 2016's chases :D

Not like there aren't other cool skins for the rest of us. Seeing a legacy in the game instills this unique kind of respect. I think it's cool.

I would kind of agree with you but currently when I see a legacy skin all I think is probably a hacker

The devs know Xbox and PS players want this. Last word was they do not know when and there is no guarantee it'll ever even happen.

That doesn't surprise me, guess its just going to cost them money we would have spent and those of us wanting this it's going to cost us the fun of playing

  • I wouldn't say they are my mains but them demo and hag are probably my three most used killers.

I don't like to run add ons if it can be helped but perks for twins:

    Barbeque and chilli

    Sloppy butcher

    Pop goes the wheasel

    Oppression

Hatch is a BS mechanic that shouldn't even exist, especially if they decide to implement MMR.

It's super frustrating to see 2-3 people escape when you're doing a good job at protecting the objective, and even without factoring in keys, hatch is entirely rng dependent and basically requires you to slug if you want to get a 4th kill unless you've already seen where it spawned.

Honestly, I believe hatch should be completely replaced by something like a final chase. Last long enough and the exit gates open for you. If you get caught before then, the killer can mori you when you're on the ground. Keys could be repurposed to open/set breakable walls for a time or allow you to open a chest quicker with a better rarity item.

I'm not sure I agree with everything you have said but that last long enough in chase thing is interesting, i hate being slugged for a 4k and have while playing survivor had it alot where I can out run the killer the whole of the end game collapse but could never open the exit gates, that would make the end game quite fun instead of just begging for mercy ๐Ÿ˜‚

Could be wrong, but I don't think console platforms support them. On the other hand, Steam allows for multiple versions of the game to be accessible to any player at once, which is why only PC players can access it.

Thanks, I still think offering a PTB pass on steam would be possible sort of like offering a demo version, but it seems like it's an area they aren't looking to advance

I believe its primarily the Certification processes for them. It's not possible to have a PTB the same way on consoles (or even the MS Store on PC) as it is on Steam, which is why it's only the Steam platform that has the PTB. And with Steam, changes can be made to update the PTB if needed (which is not the same for other platforms), and its very necessary to have that ability on PTB.

I myself have friends that are not on Steam that would love to try out PTB as well, but the PTB is only available on Steam.

I don't understand that certification process I'd have expected that to be possible but let's say you're correct (you seem to understand that) why don't they offer codes to their players to be able to play the PTB on steam? Surely that should be possible?

I get that, I'm saying there are other stores other than the steam store, and they seem to offer multiple versions being available but DBD don't load the PTB into that only steam, for instance I play through the xbox store on Windows, so I'm playing on PC but can't access the PTB because not steam, even if they gave out codes to players so they could access the PTB but they dont

It changes the base formula of the game: once you die you're out. Now you give survivor 2 more chances basically

Well that survivor is but you get to keep playing as your next survivor. I just thought it would make it feel better as dying on your first hook is horrible and 4 man teams escaping is horrible

  • @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

What you describe is simply a different game. You change the core of dbd, so this change is quite impossible

I don't think it's that great a change, fundamentally the game still functions the same it's just that each hook as now a sacrifice instead of each 3 hooks, I'd say greater changes have been made since its incarnation.
