Holy hell, I didn't actually believe everyone who said that people would start complaining about sprint burst once DH was nerfed, but here we are. Yeah its just one post but I find it pretty funny.
In reality though, while this has nothing necessarily to do with balance, my biggest problem with DH was that it was really unfun to play against. Stuff like having to assume everyone had DH and wait it out was really unfun to do. Yeah, you still might have to wait it out sometimes, but not I don't need to assume literally everyone has it and wait everyone on first hook out. Another thing was it was really unfun to get to what seems like the end of a chase, you are about to catch the survivor, and boom they just deadhard to a pallet. It always felt unfun because you should have won the chase there, but one perk was easily able to give them distance enough to extend it without a second thought.
Sprint burst is doesn't feel unfun in any way to play against. Yeah they might be able to get to a strong loop at the start of the chase, but that is much less unsatisfying than getting victory snatched from your right at what should have been the end of the chase. If they 99% Sprint burst and use it in the middle of the chase, I don't feel bad either because I know how hard that can be to pull off without accidentally using it or having to just hop on a gen when its 99'ed and lose that 99. I see that and am able to go "damn, good job" because it feels like a genuinely skilled outplay that they had to put effort into performing
tl;dr Sprint burst is much better because doesn't feel immensely unfun to play against since you don't have to always assume its there and it actually takes some skill and planning to use it at anytime besides the beginning of a chase or to even not waste it by mistake.

With are the current arguing and disagreements about the state of the patch, I thank you for taking the time to talk about the important things in the latest patch.

100% agree. I also feel that just like prayer tablet, it really swaps up my playstyle. I'm able to play around the 5-hit instadown a lot more, but at the same time I can't use feral frenzy to catch up to survivors or traverse the map since pre-hit speed is just base 4.6m/s. This part I feel is even more prevalent now with the changes to feral frenzy recharge and fatigue. I love the feeling of using the addon and bringing a side objective of the power more front and center and in exchange reducing the effectiveness of the more normal uses.

There are only three that I hate with a burning passion and those are Eyrie, RPD, and Badham. Don't get me wrong, there are more I kinda dislike, but at most that just make me mildly annoyed for around 10 seconds at the beginning of the match. RPD I hate because I don't that the design works well in DBD, plus it basically just makes billy a less fun bubba :(. At least in Lery's at least has long hallways for him the chainsaw sprint in. The other two I really hate just because while the pallets, size, loops, ect. slightly annoy me at that beginning, I really don't like their visuals/color scheme. Don't really know why, but how they just look/feel changes them from maps that I just say dang it to at the beginning to maps I truly dislike.

Same to all the survivor mains out there. I commend all of your for your coordination in game. I rarely touch survivor as I find that things going wrong are so much easier to handle when its 100% your own fault and knowing that you can improve compared to stuff going wrong because of another teammate, even if it was by mistake. The ability to communicate with each other so well is admirable, both solo queue and SWF.
And to the ones that go out of your way to be kind: It means so much more than you would know. One of my clearest memories was when I was playing Nurse and I got brought to Ormond by an offering. I felt I was doing pretty well, but I ended with 8 hooks and no sacrifices. I originally ended that game feeling out of it due to feeling slightly cheated by an offering since I'm not some god tier nurse. In the end game chat though, the 3 man SFW who didn't bring the offering all complimented me on my Nurse skills and told me I could get really really good at her. Just this act of kindness changes a disheartened mood to a great one since even though I lost, I felt like I had still played well. To those survivors out there that spread kindness, thank you!
