I'm having this issue, and it's also causing the archive challenge to repair 2 gens with other survivors while using this perk to not work.
My only guess is that it's ping related, since I'm usually playing at 200-300 ping to be able to play with my friends who are across the world from me. (And based on this reddit post that someone suggested that was the issue https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/139n3v0/friendly_competition_bugged_for_everyone_or_just/).
The perk doesn't activate, and the challenge doesn't progress; tried multiple times on different gens with other survivors. My other perks were Adrenaline, Empathy, and For The People, for what it's worth, but I doubt they're related.

This happened to me on survivor side. The killer downed me and picked me up, I got full progress and wiggled off, she downed me again shortly after, picked me up, and I got instant killer grasp escape without wiggling at all. And it wasn't DS; I had DS, but I hadn't been hooked and it wasn't active, nor did I hit a skill check. (And I did successfully use DS later in the match, as well, which I wouldn't be able to do if I'd used it before).
This was on PC (Steam). I believe the killer was also on PC.

This happened to me. This is still ongoing and hasn't even been acknowledged after over a month.

Lmao I can’t even try to heal others anymore unless I have a Medkit or the game is going really well and I feel like we have time to spare because I know I’m gonna “miss” like 5 skill checks that I hit perfectly 😅 Usually people just interrupt me healing them and run away 😃
Playing against the doctor is still the worst for this glitch IMO. Once you're in madness 3 you might as well give up on doing anything because you're sure as hell not going to be able to snap out of it with how many skillchecks you'll be "failing". Just find a corner and accept your fate 😂

Literally got someone killed last night because a healing skill check that I hit broke them anyway and the killer came over :)

This issue has not been resolved in the latest update, I did check.

Update: this makes playing against the Doctor nearly impossible, since every other skillcheck is regressing snap out of it progress and it takes three times as long to finish snapping out of it while constantly revealing yourself.
