• Killers who camp get that many points because the main thing killers get points is by hooking survivors or killing them (basically just getting them out of the trial). Me and my friend have dealt with this situation and he had a recommendation which allows the timer on the hook to stop and it not go down when the killer is in a certain range of the hooked survivor. Now in my opinion, i said this would be over powered ,but i get where he was coming from. But yes the devs should do something but they do not have many options on what to do.

• Actually they do play their game. The only time they play the game is if they need to look for any bugs through out the game or if they are thinking of creating a new chapter. There is even a popular twitch streamer McLean https://www.twitch.tv/mclean_yep who plays dead by daylight while being a developer for the game. So, in some scenarios Developers do indeed play dead by daylight.
