Seriously, looping really doesn't take skill. Give control of the game to someone who's never played it before, and give them the instructions of "run around that pile of trash a few times, and make sure to interact with the big wooden board before the other player reaches you".
Again, I said it's on par with face camping regarding skill taken, not the amount of input required.
Survivors can definitely survive without looping. I'm a Survivor main (as stated) and I do it all the time. It's by far not the "only way to outplay the killer".
I've heard breaking line of sight and hiding does wonders.
I'm pretty sure you're doing great job as a survivor without looping ^^
You can't outplay killers just by crouching and hiding. But maybe you are one of those players that hide in lockers all game long.
One wrong turn in the loop can get you caught since all killers are faster than survivors, so yeah it does require some skill.

So you say that this game is unplayable as a killer without old ruin? Really? As a killer you dont need to kill all 4 survivors to actually win the game.
As for the looping, i cant understand what's your point. Its the only actual way to outplay the killer if you are good at it (and no man, you are wrong, it takes skill, it's nothing like camping). If survivors couldnt do that, the game would be completely unbalanced.
I am a survivor main, but i've also played killer and have never basecamped, and still had very good games. The only games that were really frustrating as a killer, were the ones where i played vs red survivors while i was still green or low purple.
