I mean does it make sense to drop chase at that point? Does the survivor have strong tiles nearby and you won't be able to down him quickly? Did you get a few pallets? Do you know where the other survivors are? Where did the survivors spawn? How long has it been since you checked the gens where they spawned?
The game isn't just find survivor, down survivor, hook survivor, find survivor, down survivor, hook survivor. Need to use your brain a bit if you want to be good at killer.
A well organized team will be able to work around your pressure especially if you aren't tunneling, theyre body blocking and have perks like decisive, borrowed time and any endurance perk.

Wow dude, if you actually read what I was saying, I said the strategy is applying pressure appropriately, and it's impossible to apply pressure to literally every gen. Even the top killers and streamers say you have to rely on survivors making mistakes the majority of the time. I'm consistently a red rank killer, and I get three kills the majority of my games. I know what I'm talking about dude. A well organized team will literally always have the advantage. And if you don't think that's the case you prolly rest at like the green ranks dude

I don't understand this mindset. If you are losing 3 gens within 2 minutes of the game starting you are making HUGE mistakes. Just because you start a chase does not mean you need to end it with a down. You need to be able to look at what is available to the survivor and judge if you can down them in a timely manner. If not, get a hit? Go check a gen. Get a pallet? Go check a gen. Mindlessly tunneling someone until they are down and losing 3 gens because of it is your fault.
Not to mention since I dont have a hook, theres still a possibility of 4 people on 4 different generators. And if YOU can put pressure on 4 different generator ANDget a down, I'd appreciate it if you could enlighten me. Particularly advice on a survivor sided map.

And it's not mindless tunneling. To drop a chase at the beginning of the game is a very important decision as I'm wasting time, AND pressure as the survivor is just gonna get back on the same gen and I waste time looking for the right gen to put pressure on. It's a lose lose situation,

But getting rid of keys would mean getting rid of Moris for one.
- I personally think that you shouldn’t be able to get keys mid game from chests.
- There should be a timer for opening hatch, up to 10 seconds
- Only pink keys can open hatch, Purple ones be used for auras/add ons only.
- Or make all blood web keys like 80% rarer.
That's a pretty good idea tbh. And, I'm personally not opposed to keys and moris. I'd just prefer them to be as strong as eachother in the live game.

And it's not mindless tunneling it's important to have a down before the first gen is completed. It's true you can start a different chase, but it's a very important decision to make, and am I suppose to just give up every chase that the survivor just so happens to run into a strong part of the map? Then I just lose pressure and time. Since time is always against me.

So what if I dropped a chase after a hit, what is he gonna get back on that gen and I put pressure on a different gen? Then that one guy is gonna get back on that gen while I waste time looking for more pressure while MORE survivors have no pressure since I dont have a hook

These are just my opinions.
You admitted gens go by fast in a normal game
How is a killer supposed to pressure on two or three gens at once in the middle of every chase. If It takes me like 20 to 30 seconds to down someone in a very strong part of the map, and there's a gen with two people on it and another gen with one person on it (god forbid all three survivors are on their own gen) there is no real way I can successfully stop gen progression. Even while I have someone on a hook, in a chase, and while someone tries to save. That leaves one on a gen, and with how long it takes to get to the second and third stage of a hook, the second person is probably committing to the gen. The best case scenario is to find the third person on the right gen to create pressure on the third person. So, if the survivors play correctly (Which doesn't seem very hard to do, especially in a well coordinated team on a fair map with meta perks) with aggro taken in a responsible manner, and taking into account slowdown perks from the killer it seems impossible to truly stop and put pressure on multiple survivors without the survivors making mistakes, when my gameplay should really be impacted on my skill to down survivors in a timely manner while they DON'T make mistakes.
And then add keys which completely subverts the objective. And the more pressure, or kills, a killer puts into the game, YOU get rewarded for that. Because the hatch comes from how many survivors are alive, PLUS the work survivors put into the game.
Then think about how moris got nerfed. Which make it so survivors are on death hook already, and depending on the mori and hook placement, it's faster to just hook someone to kill them. (IMO)

Seriously. I just had a match where the survivors send me to Ormond, and were a swf group (Can confirm cause I messaged them) of 3. Then had 3 gens pop in less than 2 minutes cause they were all on one by themselves. I had a relatively fast down, but how am I supposed to put pressure on three gens while I'm in the middle of a chase, or better yet, even if I got to one of them after my first chase, how do I put pressure on two of them while chasing the second? They said I tunneled, and to be fair I did. But there was no other way I was gonna get a kill. I said, what you're doing is a little rude, then they said they were all laughing at me and to chill it's just a game. And I was a little tilted, but what could I have done? I was able to get the last two on their last hook, but of course they have borrowed, decisive, and were body blocking. I'm not sayoing every game is like this. But if they have the potential to do this, it just doesn't seem very fair.

It's not just killers. If both sides say there are jerks, then both sides prolly suck. Just cause you're a main to one side, and you THINK you're being nice doesn't mean everyone else on your side is a saint, and everyone on the other side is obviously a jerk. It's pretty obvious even if you're simple minded. Just rub your two brain cells together and really try to think about it, I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually.

Oh dude I totally get it. I think this game is very luck based. Even with SWF groups. Like, I just had a game where I was on haddonfield, and an obvious swf group that were way too coordinated, and frankly mean :/ They all escaped through the hatch in front of me, while the last few teabag, point, and stay in the game to taunt as long as possible until I force them out. Half of my games I'm usually getting 3 or more kills. But, if you get a bad map, and very coordinated teammates, or just straight up 2 or 3 people on comms with each other... It can be very frustrating. People who say "Get gud" just wanna get under your skin, cause it seems that's what every other player wants to do. Some people are just mean, and with the ruin changes, the mori changes, flashlights back to normal, and how killers are just 25% faster than the survivors, and all their endurance perks....(Not to mention how awful some of the maps are, or a bad loadout with pallets, and the) it just doesn't seem like skill is the dominant factor in winning these games. Solo queues are pretty awful for survivors so there's no incentive to not get a friend or two to help you out, and can you blame someone for trying to have fun with their friends? Just try to not get bent out of shape when the odds are so heavily stacked against you.
Although I am a hypocrite, and tend to get pretty mad easily lol it's a good thing to try and remember. And who knows, maybe a survivor will put the game map offering, or you'll spawn in Hawkins xp
