People dont want easy games, they want enjoyable ones.
As i was just reading over it i came into a game that i wasnt sure if i should DC straight or keep sitting in my box because the map's design is so terrible that i cant get away from there without landing on a hook.
I just kept waiting there, i was dead no matter what, even went back into the basement and healed up - but who cares he waited and especially those scenarios.... it was absolutly no fun at all for me to play the game and if i actually did DC my mates wouldve not escaped because on this map you cant even do gens properly.
There comes the reasons you just DC the game and join a hopefuly more enjoyable one.
To be completly honest, by the time this game (if ever) made enjoyable for the players, i see myself been perma banned.
But with such a faulty game design i dont care anyways, a game that is no fun is just as good as no game at all and i consider the money ive paid for this a long time ago beeing a complete waste.
Back in the day i was seriously hoping that they bring the game into a good shape, but yet 3 years later they havent fixed a single of the main issues within the game.
They just ran from one fix to another without doing anything about any of the main problems cause and im kinda feeling sorry to say that, but no matter wich dev you take, the mapdesigner, the addon designer, the ones responsible for the netcode or the insane 360 cone attackrange, the killer designers... all of them mess up and are bad at their jobs.
Only Thing they are good at is finishing some content or contracts that tell them what to do 100% exactly, at everything else they are just overwhelmed at doing it correctly.

The only difficulty about nurse is mapknowledge, nothing else and so is it for the survivors to become good.
I can imagine people that spent 1000 hours into this game as a survivor know every single hex location on any map, but imagine some1 puts 1000 hours into the Nurse and knows every single spot to perfectly teleport from one place to another.
It totaly depends on the player if something is considered difficult or not, i consider DbD as one of the easiest games in the market (mechanical wise!) - even the attacks as killer, i have a hard time to ever miss since this game allows me to use a extremly high sensitivity and a big enough hitregistration timer to even spin 360s and still hit survivors, even when i dont see them anymore.
Like i just know that thing from other p2p Games, even p2p shooters suffer from insane "flickshots" that work like a triggerbot and theres just way more issues within game engines that can be easily abused.
Any1 played counter strike source back in the day and had a 50 fps lock for extra lower recoil pattern so you could point blank hammer down 4 shots at the same spot, instead of 1?
Like those things alot of people even use by default but they never know whats happening.
But lets just be alone the facts that you can blink multiple times for extreme distances AND get an extra speed on your attacks aswell - its impossible to miss.

Im quite confused, how do you even activate Sprint Burst "normal"? For me that perk is 100% RNG and Inconsistent.
Sometimes im geting chased and i spam the Shift key and it just wont pop untill i tank the Hit, other times the game just started i press shift it doesnt pop, then in another game it pops instant when i dont even need it at all.
Totaly confusing to me why that thing isnt even bound to another Key as it normaly should be.

Well if you cant fix sth its better to just remove it.
I personally dont even see the Hex itself as the Problem, its a combination of Mapdesign, Killer chosen and map to be played.
The absolute Worstcase Scenario is, the Killer has Hex, the Map has no proper Line of Sight breaks, so the killer can look from one side of the map to another.
Im yet to figure out how to Win Swamp in Example when theres 4 Gens in a Radius of literally 10 yards, one is on the broken ship and the killer can observe all of them - the Hex at that case would be my least problem, the problem for me would be the Map and Generator Placement in the first Place.
But Overall most of all the Issues come down to the massive RNG this game is dealing with, if you cant even choose the Map (or atleast know what you will be playing on), then you arent able to pick the right things anyways.
By that means you could nerf Hex:Ruin and people will quickly come up with something else that is broken and i personally think its easier to talk about the things that are not broken in this Game since that List would be way smaller, than the actual broken things.
Games where you are 2 Survivors Remaining and cant finish another Gen because they are to easy for the killer to roam around.
Games where you are alone and the killer closes the hatch and then puts traps in front of every exit powerbutton - like all these things are broken and by broken i usually mean in an unplayable or completly unenjoyable state.
Also one big question is how you want to balance anything anyways, random survivors have no communication tools as premade teams have - its drastically different gameplay experience - you wanna balance for Premades, so the game is unplayable for randoms? Or the opposite around and Premades keep making the killer quit?
All those Things come directly from the drawing board itself and if i had to balance anything first, i would straight up start with the broken Maps and make them equaly fair in the first place, before i would waste any more time fixing stuff that isnt even responsible for most of the issues.
Fix the Fundament of the Game and the very basics first, before you can do something properly.
Like if you work in a Kitchen and the food is terrible, you fix the cook first, not the food - because the food is the result of the bad cook.
And i see the issue in the need of Hex: Ruin in the Mapdesigners making bad Maps in the first place and the resulting "food" would be the Killers and the musthave Perks.
Like Yamaoka, Ormond, Springwood, Backwater Swamp, Autohaven Gas Heaven, The Temple of Purgination... if i had to make the choice, i would straight up hotfix remove those maps first and start reworking them to fit the game better.
MacMillan and Coldwind Farm seems to have the best maps, the other maps i personaly think are totaly messed up in alot of different ways.
From the Exit Gates, to Hatch, Generator or even Hook Placements - i just cant even think about all of the issues without spending another 6 hours writing this comment.
