Hello my name is Singularity, Hello my name is Artist. Honorable mention: Hello my name is dracula (I can hit over any loop) Hello my name is Springtrap, I have a 2cm hitbox projectile that has the highest skill ceiling in the game, I also have doors that survivors can use too! Cool, right? I'm just very bugged right now, it will be over soon.

    TLDR:

I watched my buddy play Springtrap 2 days ago and he had a projectile line. I know for a fact my buddy doesn't use hacks, but having a projectile line isn't something that I would call "the highest skill ceiling in the game."

I'm sorry but I strongly and heavily disagree. The killers who play to win from minute one, no holds barred will tunnel relentlessly and if the survivors aren't ready for it/good enough to finish a game in a 3v1 scenario - they lose. Straight up.

I understand your argument that doing this means you don't learn macro play, or splitting pressure; and so on. I agree, if a new player learning Killer just tunnels nonstop and doesn't learn these things it will hinder them but that's not the issue with tunnelling. The issue with tunnelling is once you know these things, it becomes objectively the easiest way to win a match.

Secure a hook, proxy them to 2nd stage if you can then tunnel them out immediately after. Slowdown perks will buy you enough time to do this usually. Most solo Q teams will fold to this strat because they either don't have enough gens done by this point or throw trying to protect the person being tunnelled.

As for the 2nd point about it being unbalanced/getting changes - I'd say be very careful what you wish for because there's two sides to these issues and more often than not a lot of Killer's end up tunnelling because the survivors did 3 gens super quickly and the Killer needs to push the match back toward their favour by making it a 3v1. If Killers can no longer do this at all, killrates will probably plummet for a lot of the cast. Imo at least.

I know plenty of consistent 4k before gens are done that get their wins without tunneling. Whether they're being serious or not going into the game. One of them I regularly play with. Tunneling has been a strat (in my experience- 2k hrs and have been playing since before they lost the license for Stranger things) that newer players, or players that are just done with the game and don't want to admit it and therefore become bitter and toxic use. Tunneling is not healthy game play for either side. As a skilled survivor and a newer Killer, I'm able to get 4ks fairly regularly without tunnelling. It's all about knowing the killer you're playing, knowing the map, and understanding the different ways survivors play. And learning all of that takes time and patience. If you're tunnelling, or condoning Tunneling to any degree (the survivors running into a dead zone and being the easier target I kind of understand), you haven't truly learned the game or it's mechanics, and you don't show you have the patience to do so.

My opinion based on my experience and exposure to the community.

  • II'm So glad I'm not the only one smart enough to run to the opposite side of the map!!! Even in regular lobbies. I've noticed that killers just have a habit of heading roughly to where survivors spawn and someone is almost always downed within the first few minutes of the match.

How do they have infinite power? If the answer is "Legion" then I'll simply respond with "medic class"

With the amount of those little blood bubbles Oni collects floating around because there's almost always someone injured at any given point, I haven't been surprised that he has so much use of his power. It basically is infinite. He's got plenty available to him to recharge, so he's able to recharge almost instantly.

On another note, I've only played about 10 matches with a friend as survivor, and Ghostface was the predominant one for us. I got hatch the first match we played, she got hatch the second, we both got hatch the third, and for the most part our escape ratio is on the higher end. But we're also not casual players. And we enjoy playing survivor together. There's too many people playing this game who don't enjoy it that keep coming back to it, and honestly, that rather large portion of the community is what's ruining the game for those of us that genuinely do enjoy the game for whatever reason.

  • Speaking to the low pick rate...

Most of the people that I know refuse to play him, or take a match against him seriously because of his lore. If anyone has watched the movies, and you know why he's krispy????? That's why.

  • As a survivor main with 2k hrs in the game, with the skill level to hit iri 1 within a week of solid gameplay, while working a regular job, I can say that Kaneki is genuinely op. Yes, the game is SUPPOSED to be killer sided. The devs have said this, and given the base mechanics of the game, it honestly needs to be killer sided. My boyfriend and I have a pretty high escape rate, his being MUCH higher than mine, and we've escaped Kaneki a handful of times. And as someone who has played with a dev (they have a special banner and player icon) and done BETTER than the dev????? I can safely say that I know what I'm talking about.

At the moment, I can agree that the time a survivor pauses when they get marked should go down, and he shouldn't be able to launch himself clear across the map. Other than that, he's a new enough killer that I haven't learned effective ways to play against him. I can loop him easily enough when he doesn't throw himself at me. I have figured out though that he's a combination of wesker, and deathslinger when playing against him, and playing as though I'm going against the three of them merged together has helped me get better at going against him. And since learning that, my escape rate has started to go back up.

Do I have things I complain about on a regular basis?? Yeah, but most of the time it's toxic player behavior, not the killers themselves.

  • There's bots for survivors who dc, not killers. And I feel it would probably be pretty hard to make a killer bot. So killers don't have the option to leave or surrender because the entire lobby is dependent on them being there. Anytime the killer dc's the match is done and over with for all 5 players. It makes sense to me.

I wouldn't call breaking totems sandbagging. I specifically run Detective's Hunch in all of my survivor builds because I cannot even begin to count how many times my entire team has made it out alive because the killer's NOED never went off due to me busted all the totems before gens were done. If you're wasting the entire match avoiding gens because you're hunting totems without something like DH to help you quickly find them, then sure, that can be detrimental to the team, but if you can take out all of the totems between gens, that's a massive boon for the team.

My biggest sandbagging gripe when playing solo is when your teammate is being chased by the killer and he specifically runs them to where you are, causing the killer to now focus on you instead. And it's always when you're over 90% done with a gen. When you start to hear a generator being worked on, or you see the gen's aura due to my Blast Mine, that means lead the killer AWAY.

I ran small game for the longest time. I always pop one motor myself before I go totem hunting. I'm my groups bone sl*t because I can get all 5 totems in the time it takes them to finish two gens. I have most of the spawns memorized on most maps, and all of them on the saloon. I've saved my team from noed and other hexes more times than I care to count.

S Tier is a laugh. You clearly don’t understand how he works. Low A tier max.

I literally watched a two yr old get a hit with The Ghoul the other day on a YouTube short. Yes, their adult was the one playing the game, but he has his kid get the hit for him. I'm a b their player and am able to get out of most matches or wait the end game timer out before most killers get me at this point, unless I get tunneled out of the game (killers get really salty about deli, and my boyfriend and I both run it a good portion of the time and he's comp level if we had comps for dbd), but Ghoul absolutely stomps us, and it's infuriating that brand new players, or even players that have little skill I'm playing killer are able to down a 1k hrs each swf in a matter of minutes. Ghoul is an op S teir killer. You sound like a tunneling basement Bubba.

or we just suck at the game and still in bronze

The problem with this statement of opinion here is that we're facing brand new players who have never played before and losing miserably to them because of how The Ghoul is currently set up. I have almost 2k hours in the game and would consider myself a rather decent player. My boyfriend isn't that far behind me in playtime and would be comp level if there were such a thing for dbd. Our matches against new killer players don't last very long, and we have no problem looping them for a couple of motors before we end up getting downed because we've exhausted resources in the area. We can both take a chase each and get out with us being the o ly two hooked the entire match. With The Ghoul, the match is over in a matter of minutes because there's not a lot of availability to counterplay with how he's currently set up. I think he's a really cool killer (and overplayed right now, but that's understandable), but he's more effective than a basement Bubba against a fresh batch of survivors that don't know any better.

  • I have a huge phobia of clowns, so honestly, being able to remove him from my que would be great. Loading i to a match with him is the only time I've dc'd aside from facing the bug in 2v8 where the survivor gets stuck on killer.

Waiting a whole hour seems really extreme. Especially since survivor queues are nearly instant. I’m in NA and I am not sure what region you are in of course but my avg wait time was 12-15 minutes at most 9 at the shortest wait time. (Literally had to time it)

I presume it’s not the same for every region which is understandable so I get it. I might just be lucky

Im in NA too, and I've had a couple 2v8 matches where I've waited an hour. It was crazy.

  • Reading some of these comments makes me feel like they believe I should be punished even more because I dc'd from a clown match because of my extreme phobia. I don't come across clowns often, but when I do, I always wait to see the skin first, because I can play against a couple of them like Mr. Puddles. I'd rather leave and give my swf a bot (I usually play with one other person I'm in vc with, and they figured out you can tell the bots to work on a motor or follow you if you're in their direct line of sight) than have a panic attack that my friends then have to spend x amount of time helping me come out of depending on how the match went. Keep in mind, we don't always know why someone dc's. They could have a phobia of the killer (clown, plague, and Myers are phobias I know of), or maybe something happened irl with them. Give people a little grace. Stick to complaining about how the bots are instead of people that aren't griefing cause they couldn't leave on hook.

  • You sound like a basement Bubby.

In the words of the wise Dark Souls players....... "Get Good." I've been playing for almost a year now as a survivor, and a month as a killer. I main Nea, Feng, and Pig. I have a decent escape rate, and I'm getting the two to three kills a game you so desire. After a month.... So get off the forum, get in the game and get good.
