I'll bring some possible logic into here and say a few things. One, they can't test updates on consoles so it is a lot harder for them to make sure the update works perfectly on release. They obviously just put out the update and then deal with problems as they arise. Since Circle of Healing wasn't crashing games on the PTB (in my experience, at least), it must be something to do with consoles.
Two, they're probably disabling maps because when totems were first put into the game (and up until this point), Survivors were the only players interacting with them. No reason for Killers to interact with them until now... so that means that there are probably several totem spots that Killers can't fit into to stomp the Survivor Hex. Probably just an oversight on their part (a pretty big one, sadly). They'll have to reconfigure a lot of the totem spawns to accommodate Killers, and messing with map geometry is a pretty tedious process in my experience.
Hey I don't know if you saw my post before it was deleted, but i just wanted to apologize, I have played this game for 3.5 years now its a huge passion of mine and i love this game, and dead dog being disabled again just really upset me because i love playing that map, they released a video on youtube showing the map and we cant even play it, i know they are balancing maps around boon totems i just needed to vent, and let behavior know that i was upset, a guy who defends their game everytime, who doesn't play this game like a the toxic part of the community, im constantly promoting this game, and i just want to see it succeed, because its my favorite game of all time,
